What We Do

Our primary activities are a monthly on-line Zoom meeting for the purpose of fellowship, networking and providing edifying content for spiritual and career growth (see below).

We also host a display table and conduct an in-person meeting at the annual Joint Statistical Meetings, which are held each summer at a city in North America.

We currently have a mentoring program available for our members and a consulting initiative.  See our Mentoring and Consulting pages for more information.

Monthly Book Study

We are currently conducting a monthly, on-line book study that is open to all.  Our most recent choice is “Mathematics through the Eyes of Faith,” by Drs. James Bradley and Russell Howell.  As the authors state in the Preface, “this book aims to address the relationship between mathematics and Christian belief, and we hope, to awaken new interest in it.”

Our study generally meets in the evenings of the second Tuesday of each month.  If you would like more information about the book or the study format, contact Aric Labarr at adlabarr@ncsu.edu.

Please consider joining us for the next meeting!
